An engagement session is a great opportunity for me to get to know you more and a fab way for you to feel more confident in front of the camera. It's a perfect time to capture the little love bubble you are in after becoming engaged and to get excited in the build up to the big day. This is your time to have fun so throw yourself into it and let me document all your love and laughter.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
When do we book our engagement session?
Sessions can be booked whenever suits you best. You may want to use them as a celebratory session just after the question is popped, or use it as a practise infront of the camera before your wedding day. If your thinking of a weekend date give me plenty of notice as my diary normally fills up with wedding bookings.
Can children/fur babies get involved?
Yes! If you would like the whole tribe involved that's great, just let me know at point of booking.
Where do engagement sessions happen?
I normally suggest an outside location in and around Herts, Beds and Bucks but I also love a beach or visiting a new light filled venue so I would love to hear your ideas.
What should I wear?
I always say you must feel comfortable in what you are wearing, fitting clothing that your conscious about will only annoy you and distract you from enjoying the experience. Key things to consider, clothing should compliment each other but not match. I am a lover of pastels and neutral tones as thats what my photography style is all about.
Girls if your having a make up trial why not think about having that the same day as your engagement shoot? When choosing footwear just be aware what the ground is going to be like ie. not ideal wearing heels in a muddy field.
How much does an engagement session cost?
The cost of a session is £180 but I do include a complimentary week day sessions when you book me for the all day wedding package. Travel may be an additional cost depending on location. All images captured on the day will be edited in my signature style and sent via a password protected online gallery.
